I've fallen in love with Teuscher's champagne truffles, when I've first tried them in Toronto.
(Toronto! of all places...) They had a store tucked away in the Manual Life centre
as a part of a fancy silverware & kitchen goods store, William Ashley.
The Teuschers there is the only one you can find in Canada unfortunately.
However, I was lucky enough to find these in Seoul, Korea.
I'd recommend the Champagne truffles, and no more.
I've tried most of these, and the Champagne truffles are by far outstanding.
Than their other flavours,
and also in comparison with other champagne truffles I've tried.
Probably one of my favorite chocolate goods. Must try!
I prefer their dark, but perhaps people that generally like thing sweeter
might enjoy their milk more.
I paid roughly 10,000 won for 3 pieces of regular sized champagne truffles.
Probably works out to about $3 a piece, which isn't too far from
what I used to pay for back in TO.
Between the fight of Swiss Chocolates vs Belgian Chocolates
-- Teuscher is Swiss.
However don't let prejudices hold you back,
because they're all really good!
This! This! This! This!
...and others for reference sake.
This is how the chocolate-cream nougat inside looks like.
it has a creamy champagne center, personally I like to bite into half first
in order to fully indulge into the champagne flavour.
Their coffee menu.
With a Paul Bassett coffee shop next door,
they were forced to lower their coffee prices.
Not much seating available, but perhaps good to take-out if you work nearby
