Korean, Japanese - Myungdong Donkatsu

So there are a lot of historic restaurants in the Jong-ro and Myungdong region,
Myungdong Donkatsu being one of them.

Sure, Donkatsu is considered Japanese food, but who's to say pork cutlets are?!
Due to the restaurant's legacy in Myungdong along with their sandoff-ish menu creations,
such as the popular "Cordon Blue" pork cutlet,
I've also categorized this restaurant Korean as well.

Perhaps it's inevitable --
as much as the efforts made to differentiate Korean culture from Japanese,
it is near impossible to distinguish the one to another sometimes.

Moving on from the political babble, here we are.
Bad photos, sorry.

You can really feel the age of the place from the exterior, interior design.
Even from the menu-style

Unfortunately, taking photos of the interior was prohibited.

1st floor had a round bar-type seats, where everyone sits around the cooking station.
Your food is served lightning fast, and people eat quickly and go.

2nd floor is a table sit-down style from what I've heard.

The 2 most popular dishes were the Tenderloin and the Cordon Bleu
I've ordered my usual favorite, the tenderloin.

Salad with peanut sauce. Yum yum

Located inside the Krispy Kreme alleyway!

Apparently this place was on TV for their Tonkatsu.

Overview

Not bad, worth going for historical value.
However, I've had better pork cutlets. Sorry.
