This extraordinary bakery

 " Passion 5 "

can be found

Reflective-glass exterior, this is the head office building of SPC

a foods group that owns Paris Baguette, Paris Croissant, Baskin Robbins Korea and others

They offer valet services at the bakery...

Ground floor where the bakery and other sweets can be found

This seems new to their collection,

a fruit mousse cake that is displayed inside a boat-style dish

Baked goods

I took a picture of this because the lead from the musical Wicked loves this bread apparently.

The red bean paste filled bun!

I brought a few home, but didn't have the chance to eat them.

All of them gone the next morning. Tells how good they were, I suppose :-|

Wicked was phenomenal by the way.

Everyone should go see it when they get the chance

Their 2nd floor (L'atelier) offers food and tea

The foods being mainly pasta and such

You can also bring the baked goods that you've purchased from the bakery up to eat with tea

however they offer a small selection of desserts as well such as sliced cake

(which can also be found in the bakery)

The sous-sol (Parlour) that offers tea, champagne, and

different desserts that are not sold in the bakery

They offer different food goods from the ones sold on 2nd floor

Parlour is open later than the other floors - Open till 12AM

The teas they serve is "Kusmi tea" which is a meh tea in the tea world

if I remember correctly, but whatever

order custom drinks instead

Overview

Their teas and coffees are rather in a higher price range (over 8,000)

a premium that you're paying for sitting in a well decorated parlor

The cakes here are sure to dazzle anyone in any occasion,

I've personally surprised my mother (the artist) with several of their cakes each year

and they are not to be found in any other bakery in the country

Now also offering numbered candles instead of long ones as well

Perhaps it's my nature of Kaloi k'Agathoi

or maybe it's because I've been to this place from nearly its beginning years,

I will most likely be their loyal customer that will return as long as I live in Seoul.
