Bar - The Lion's Den

This place has become my staple regular place to drink right now.

All possible because I'm such a lightweight when it comes to drinking....

Happily tipsy and giddy all after a drink or two.

Located near Hongdae (Hongik University)

The Lion's Den is closer to walk to from Hapjung stn. (Green line, number 2)

Exit number 3 to minimize travel time

they offer a 'whisky tasting menu', it looks like....

Don't think my alcohol tolerance could handle that :-p

The menu

What's nice about this place is that they sell 150+ different whiskies by the glass.

It's a nice opportunity to try different regional whiskies - single malt or blended

before you commit to buying a bottle

However the prices run a bit high, if you're used to the Hongdae region prices

but perhaps on par with Gangnam liquor prices

10,000 and upwards per glass.

Under the 13,000 ish mark - you're looking at pretty crappy liquor unfortunately

decor that seems to have been hand picked by someone

Love this about this bar. They hand cut your ice.

This one is cut into a ball, however they buy big ice bulks and cut them to size at the bar

The ones you'll see in your water glass would be clear brick-looking
