BBQ - Natural Charcoal Lamb BBQ

If you've been in Seoul (or Korea) for a while, you should know that self-bbq is a big thing here.
Although most barbecue places offer pork or beef (beef, at an unreasonably high price imo),
this place I'm posting about sells only lamb meat -- which is hard to come across in this country.

Located near the area "Noryang-jin"
a place filled with students studying for University entrance exams,
another thing that is typical to this area is their fish market.

More to come later on that.... moving on.

Ta-da!
Le friend and I got off at "Jangseungbaegi" station, line 7 on the dark green (olive?) line

If you walk down from exit 6, it's a one way walk down. Easy peasy.
You can also walk up to the restaurant from Noryang-jin stn. as well - exit 4 for easy access.

Here's how it looks from the outside:

Lambs! Yum yum.

The "natural wooden charcoal" the restaurant brags about

The banchan (side dishes)
Personally loved the mushrooms here.

Lamb came out sprinkled with kosher salt, quite fresh tasting overall

I had my friend model the perfect bite

Chart on the different types of meats and their calories and such
...interesting that lamb meat had the least calories, being so soft I thought it would be the fattiest.
Thought I'd take a picture of that. lol

Overview

Not bad of a place to eat fresh lamb meat, which is hard to come by in Korea.
People here just don't enjoy the "smell" of the meat or something.
Reasonably priced, quite great to come eat after having your fill of sashimi from the fish market below

One thing I disliked about the place was the smoke.
I think it could have been better if we pulled down the ventilation tube from above,
but who knows. Something pretty common among Korean barbecue places,
although some manage better than others.

I'll have to figure out how to link maps later...
