Korean - Haesung Susan

So this was a sashimi place in Shinchon, that's open till 2 AM.
Simply put, it wasn't that bad, but it wasn't the greatest either.

Probably not worth making a separate trip to go to, but if you still want to give it a try
exit number 3 at Sinchon Station, walk towards Ewha Women's University

Here they advertise "2 halibuts for 18,000 won".
I really recommend everyone get that in advance.
I'm pretty sure everyone that is sitting there is ordering that.

I guess the prices are where it's unappealing to me.
The food was sub par for what they're charging

Left on the menu was "simpler side dishes" on the right "abundant amount of side dishes"

The menu is difficult to decipher...
Even after having eaten here, I do not understand the main difference between the two options.
And as to why the price difference is so... "abundant"

Again, do order the 2 Halibuts for 18,000.

But this is what you get if you don't.
It's not bad, but it would have been far better for your $.

We ordered the mid-sized fancy side dishes - 75,000 won.

All very pretty, I know. But none that was superbly good.

Because my camera was having a field day out of this dinner,
the owner gave us additional dishes so that I'd post it online....

So I'm guessing originally it's excluding the two dishes below

Live octopi!
I quickly made a gif to show how these things still squirm around.
Funny little things, really.

And the main dish. Sashimi!

With a little side of sushi

A hot fish soup to end the meal. I'm usually a fan of these, but not so much this one.

Here's some additional photos of the place

Inside

Overall, their cooking is meh.
The fish isn't bad though. So do get just the fish sashimi.
