Korean Western Buffet - Ashley

Probably the most popular place to eat among local Korean girls.
Here, I'm telling you were they are, now you can start poaching for one yourself!

Kidding aside though,
you may very well be the ONLY male at the restaurant if you go...

Imagine yourself at err.. a Women's study lecture. Yes, that'll be you.

Walk straight out from exit number 1 of Shinchon Station
it's inside the building that has an Olive Young on your right

There are numerous locations to this place,
but the only 2 I would recommend would be: Shinchon & Gangnam.
Yes, yes, Gangnam style, I know. Haha.

Do keep in mind, both locations (or any or every location) are extremely popular
They open doors at 10:30, it's best you make it there before 11.

Something to give you an idea of this:

They have an LCD that shows you wait numbers, and how many teams await.
We arrived around 10:30, so no wait.

The Shinchon Ashley is slightly more expensive than all the others
however they offer a bit greater selection on food

Hmm so they open 10:30AM till 11:00PM on Sundays.
From what I remember, they open till 12AM or 1AM, but I could be wrong
Better be safe trusting the little sign than my fuzzy info!

Looks like you can buy their cakes to go, too.

A lot of retro displays for their interior.
The restaurant is run by Sun Myung Moon
-- a wealthy religious leader, that runs several different businesses

Perhaps the antiques decorated here were some of his private collections?
I apologize for the crooked photo.
I had a feeling they were creeping up on me to stop me from taking photos...

And I was right.
Sorry, no more inside photos or photos of displayed food.
Apparently I wasn't supposed to take pictures of the interior at all...
Oh well.

Moving on to food photos:

Overview

It's not bad.
Nothing extravagant, but a place to go to feel like a local female.

They have all you can drink wine for dinner!
and usually a bit more meat dishes during dinner as well.

You can also order steak a-la-carte with their buffet,
but with all the food that is available, I don't see why that would be necessary.

You have to call a week+ in advance to make reservations.
I just suggest that you go around 11...^^;
