French - À Table

I call this place "First Generation French".
A good amount of truth in this, and of course in the local scene here in Seoul.

One of the first restaurants to offer a fine-dining French atmosphere,
with a fixed -- Table d'Hôte menu.
Thus, you don't get much choice over what you eat,
you're served the goods of the day!

The price is also quite reasonable compared to other restaurants of this type,
however they only have 5 tables or so -- thus reservations are a must.
38,500 won for lunch and 66,000 won for dinner.
add 8000 for lamb mains.

Unfortunately, I've slacked and forgot to take photos of the rest of the courses.
They offer you bread as well, like most western restaurants in Korea.

The chef originally ran a restaurant nearby called À Table Bis,
however they moved the location and renamed it into Ma Cantine.
It's located right beside À Table.
Although I've never been, the menu is supposably more casual.

While you're at Samchungdong, here's something else that you might want to try:

Fluffy fried hodduck!
With their gooey sweet-centred goodness!

Bon apetite!
