Dessert - Deux Crèmes

Here's another popular dessert locale in Sinsa-dong.

So popular, they've moved from their original location, which was
a surefire wait if you were planning a visit
-- to a bigger location across the street.
There's still a wait though.

What the locals call "Garosu-gil" which means roadside trees,
has been the eminent hotspot in the Gangnam area the last few years.

Perhaps it's because the location is rather easy to access via metro,
which wasn't the case for Apgujung that had rapidly fallen in popularity a few years back.
Gotta love the transportation system here,
affordable taxi rates are definitely an added plus ^^

Like most places in the Gangnam area,
they offer valet parking.

They won't allow photography for their tartes for some reason,
but in all honesty I find this place a bit overpriced and hoity-toity
considering that their tartes are pretty mediocre.

I've tried several of their tartes over my numerous visits there,
and my favorite so far is mint chocolate. Definitely worth eating.

However at more or less 8,000 won a pop,
many of their tartes are mediocre at most.
Not too sure if I'd want to explore further on their tartes.

Sorry, but this place doesn't really live up to it's fame.
Nice ambiance, fair beverages.
Most likely to be subjected to a long wait,
and rather expensive prices.

The final decision is up to you!

My one word review would be:
"meh."

Nice that they're open till late (11:30PM) for a dessert cafe,
and I'd probably end up going here again until I find a better
dessert place in this part of town...
