Here's a cafe to visit if you're around the Ilsan area
-- Cafe Beulah.
Specializing in hand drip coffees, the beans are roasted on site.
Delicious coffees, the owner is constantly experimenting
with new blends, new roasts, fermentation...
Overall a cafe where the owner's passion towards his work can be felt.
The most important quality in any restaurant, in my opinion...
Hand drip of the day: 3,500 won
Same blend refill: 1,000 won
I love the fact that they have an extensive non-coffee list.
As someone that tries not to drink coffee past noon,
social "coffee house" gatherings in Seoul are at times irritating
since most coffee houses don't have many non-coffee options.
Even if they do, they are often not very good, either.
Love the matching reds.
I ended up drinking quite a lot of coffee this day.
The "Cookies and Cream Frappe" that I initially ordered was quite good.
(Mint Chocolate chip is also good, however not pictured)
Overview
It was quite a party spending time at this coffee house.
As long as you're enthused in learning about coffee,
the owner will be happy to explain and talk to you about
the different blends and ventures that he's trying at the moment.
A cafe is supposed to be a social scene.
Especially in Korea.
I think this is a cozy, friendly little cafe to socialize at.
Drinking various coffee blends the owner suggests,
all the way out in Ilsan!
Visit if you're nearby!
