Japanese - Nishiki

Come to Itaewon to have some really authentic Sanuki Udon.

After a bite of this udon, you'll start to believe that all the other udons you've tried

-- was in fact instant noodles.

It's located between Itaewon and Hangangjin station

I've again, tried all the udons on the menu.

The best are the following two, and one more -- their Curry Udon

Hiyashi-tantan-men (11,000 during dinner)

Tororo-konbu (10,000 dinner)

Overview

The udons at Nishiki are prime.

It's the best ever, perhaps the best in the country.

The texture of the noodles are very thick and chewy, and it's (of course)

different when you eat it hot and cold.

However, the Sanuki-style broth is a bit weak for my liking,

which is why I enjoy stronger sauces such as the ones listed above.

Perhaps it's not the most traditional, however it's what I personally enjoy best.
