Korean - Wangguan Restaurant

Here's my first non-Seoul post!

(Aside from Whang Nam Bbang, but I don't think that one counts)

This one is in Daejeon, not too far from it's train station.

A great choice to visit for lunch as soon as you get off your train!

However beware -- they're only open for 2 hours.

From 12:00 to 14:00,

-- for 30 years!!

It was such a cold day, I had an issue taking pictures here.

The warm-cold contrast kept steaming up my camera

....but I managed!

So what is this?

It's raw ground beef.

And yes, you're going to eat it raw.

Some sauce

Mix some beef into your rice with bean sprouts, add some sauce...

  Voilà!

Overview

There are two raw-beef beansprout rice restaurant in Daejeon,

the other one most likely a mock of this one.

I've been to both, this one is better

but there is the inconvenience of having to make it within their 2 hour time-slot.

Aaand, the only menu in this restaurant is this raw-beef rice,

where as the other restaurant offers more variety of food goods.
